I would have thrown a party for this big birthday (50 is every reason to celebrate) but I know he doesn't feel like it. He is a gem, my hubby, and I would not trade him for the world.

Happy Birthday to Hubby!
I am glad that we get to celebrate John's birthday. I was a little afraid that something cancer-related would through a wrench in our plans. I've baked a marble cake with chocolate fudge frosting and dinner was at the Old Original Bookbinders (birthday boy's choice). A little bit of normalcy in a world gone crazy.
